Grand Theft Auto IV – Create Your Own Levels
Grand Theft Auto IV commonly known as GTA 4 is a sandbox style action
and adventure game. This video game was developed by Rockstar North. The game was released for PlayStation3 on 29 April 2008 in Oceania,
Europe, and North America. It was released in Japan on 30 October 2008.
A windows version of the game was also released in North America on 2
December 2008 and in Europe on 3 December. It is the sixth 3D game in
the Grand Theft Auto series. There are two episodic packs titled The
Lost & Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony which are scheduled for release
for PlayStation 3 sometimes soon.
The GTA 4 contains components from driving games and third-person
shooters and has "open-world" game play which gives a player more
control over his playing experience. It is the first console game in the
GTA series to contain an online multiplayer mode.
About the game The game is set in a fictional city called Liberty City based on the
modern day New York City. The game is about a person named Niko Bellic
who is a war veteran from an unspecified country in Eastern Europe. He
comes to the United States looking for the American Dream but gets
involved in the dark world of crime, gangs and corruption.
The game achieving critical and commercial success broke industry
records with a whopping sale of 3.7 million units in the first day of
its release.
