Oblivion – Saving the World From Militants
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (or simply Oblivion) is a single
player fantasy game developed by Bethesda Game Studios. It was published
by Bethesda Softworks and the Take-Two Interactive subsidiary 2K Games.
It is the fourth part in the Elder Scrolls action game series after the
Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.

Oblivion was released for PlayStation 3 on March 20, 2007 in North
America and on April 27 in Europe. After some smaller feature releases,
a huge expansion pack -Shivering Isles was released.
The project on Oblivion was begun in 2002 right after the release of
Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. Bethesda used more improved Havok physics
engine, high dynamic range lighting, procedural content generation tools
for creating detailed terrains and the Radiant AI system. The game was
developed for the first time with fully voiced dialogue and also
contains music from the BAFTA-award-winning composer Jeremy Soule.
Oblivion won a number of industry and publication awards. A package of
both Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine included in The Elder
Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition was released for
PlayStation 3 in Autumn 2007. Before it, the game has sold over three
million copies by January 18, 2007.
About the game
