Rock Band – Music, As You Like It
Rock Band is a musical video game developed by Harmonix Music Systems
and published jointly by the Electronic Arts and the MTV Games. The
initial edition of the game was out in the United States on 20th
November, 2007 and in Canada on 22nd December, 2007.
 The game has received extensive serious recognition, with sales figures
crossing the mark of four million units and worldwide income clocking
more than $600 million. The players have already purchased 30 million
downloadable songs since the release of the Rock Band.
About the game
Rock Band will let 4 players reproduce the presentation part of the
recognized songs by taking the help of the regulator that are mechanized
to produce similar effects. Any of the players can be the lead
guitarist, the bass guitarist or a drummer and at the same time sing
through the microphone attached to the controllers.
The multiplayer ability allows the players to interact using both online
as well as offline. Apart from the 58 main songs incorporated on the
gaming disc, another 1000 downloadable songs have been released to be
further added.
The Rock Band offers absorbed online functionality including major
albums and most importantly the music publishers have been deciding on
to offer unparalleled access to the original soundtracks of well-known
rock artists like Bon Jovi, Black Sabbath, Stone Temple Pilots and The
Ramones.
